Sidi Brahim

Sidi Brahim is a red wine from Tunisia made from Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Syrah (30%) and Merlot (20%) grapes, from vineyards in the Atlas Mountains. The wine is named after the Battle of Sidi-Brahim that took place in September 1845 in French Algeria between Berber troops and French troops.

How it is made

Grapes are harvested by hand, carefully selected and left to ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

Tasting notes

Garnet red colour. Aromas of red and black fruits with hints of cinnamon and leather. Warm and generous on the mouth, very well balanced. Best served at a temperature of 18º C, with spiced meat, couscous and vegetable tagine.
