Very well balanced and balsamic red wine, made with Petit Verdot, Tempranillo and Syrah grapes, carefully selected and handled with great care. Cortijo Los Aguilares, in Serranía de Ronda, Málaga, is a winery with vineyards located 900 meters above sea level. This is a unique environment, perfect for the slow ripening of the grape.
How it is made
Pago El Espino is made from a blend of 53% Petit Verdot, 30% Tempranillo and 17% Syrah grapes. Aging takes place for 15 months in French oak casks. This is a perfect example of a classic Ronda wine, made under the Andalusian sun, in a vineyard between the mountains and the sea, 900 above sea level.
Balsamic aromas of fruits with light toast and spicy notes. Fresh and pleasant on the palate, with a very good natural acidity. Mature tannins. Smooth long aftertaste.
