San Miguel Especial

San Miguel Especial is a Pale Lager, brewed with the best malts and hops from Hallertau, Bavaria and Oregon, USA. The result is a Pilsner beer with a great balance, a refreshing taste and a pleasant bitter touch.

The history of San Miguel began in 1890 when a group of Spanish friends opened a brewery in Manila, Philippines. The brewery took over the beer production of a small monastery of Augustinian monks who had been brewing beer since 1885. In 1957, San Miguel, Fábricas de Cerveza y Malta, S.A. was born as an independent company and moved to Spain. In 1966, San Miguel opened a brewery in Malaga and enjoyed a great increase in production and exports. In 2005 San Miguel joined Mahou and Grupo Mahou-San Miguel was born. In 2017 the company's headquarters moved to Malaga.

Golden colour with golden highlights and persistent foam. Aroma of white fruits with hints of cereals and hops. Very well-balanced, pleasant and refreshing flavour with notes of malt. 5.4% ABV.
