Anis del Mono Dulce
Anise flavoured liqueur made from natural aniseed (matalahúva) and other high quality aromatic herbs. It is distilled in 19th Century copper stills. Anís del Mono Distillery was founded in 1870 by brothers Grau and Bosch. It is one of the most popular Spanish anisettes.
How it is made
The aniseeds and the rest of the aromatic herbs are distilled in copper stills to obtain the essential oils. The oils are mixed with water, sugar cane and neutral alcohol. The resulting blend is delicately stirred and bottled.
Anís del Mono Red Label is transparent, clean and bright. Smooth aroma. On the mouth it is intense and sweet. Best served with water and ice, or mixed with brandy or coffee. 35% ABV.
