Luis Cañas Gran Reserva

Smooth and pleasant red wine with Denominación de Origen Rioja, blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano from 40 year old vineyards. Bodegas Luis Cañas is a family-owned winery that dates back to 1928. It wasn’t until 1970, that Luis Cañas went on the market selling bottled young wines which had previously only been sold in bulk.

Tempranillo and Graciano grapes and harvested by hand and selected at the table. Fermentation takes place in wood tanks. Ageing is carried out for 24 months in new barrels: 70% : French oak and 30% American oak.

Clean and bright ruby color. Intense on the nose with outstanding notes of ripe red fruits and oak, as well as smoke, coffee and tobacco. Pleasant on the palate, well balanced and fruity. Fresh finish. 14% ABV.
