Red wine with Denominación de Origen Ribera del Duero, made with Tempranillo grapes, grown in 25 year old vineyards. How it is made
Grapes are handpicked and carefully selected. Then, skins are left to macerate. Fermentation takes place for 21 days at a controlled temperature of 28º C. Aging is carried out in new French oak casks (33%), 1 year old French and American oak casks (33%) and 4 year old French and American oak casks (34%).
Dark cherry coloured with garnet highlights. Intense and elegant on the nose with aromas of red fruits, cocoa beans, minerals and oak. Very good acidity on the palate, fruity and powerful. Smoky aftertaste. Best served at a temperature of 15º and 18º C. Ideal with meant, game, pasta, cold meat, egg, stews, fish and seafood, and aged cheese.
