Samuel Adams Boston Lager

This American beer offers a full, rich flavour, that is both balanced and complex. This lager is born in 1984, when Jim Koch, with his great-great grandfather Louis Koch’s beer recipe in hand, brews the very first batch of Samuel Adams Boston Lager in his kitchen. Jim Koch named his beer after Samuel Adams, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. Jim Koch is considered one of the first craft beer brewers in the EE.UU.

Samuel Adams Boston Lager is made using only the finest hand-selected ingredients, such as the noble hops varieties, Hallertau Mittelfruh and Tettnang Tettnanger, that add a wide range of floral, piney and citrus notes, which are present from the aroma, through the flavor, to the lingering smooth finish. The brewing process uses a decoction mash, a traditional four vessel brewing process discarded by many contemporary brewers. This process brings forth a rich sweetness from the malt.

Pale golden colour, with amber hues and persistent foam. Malt aromas with hints of toffee, along with flowers and spices. Very well balanced on the mouth with hints of caramel, malt and bread. Dry and fresh finish. 4,8% ABV.
