The term Kristallweizen (crystal wheat), or kristall Weiß (crystal white beer), refers to a wheat beer that is filtered to remove the yeast and wheat proteins which contribute to its cloudy appearance. G.Schneider & Sohn is a family brewery, founded in 1872, in Kelheim, Baviera by Georg Schneider I and his son Georg Schneider II. The company has been owned by generations of descendants of George Schneider I, and nowadays it is run by George Schneider VI. Their entire product line consists of top-fermented wheat beers.

Crystal clear golden colour. Aromas of bananas, yeast and lemon. Sweet on the palate with a hint of citrus. It can be served as aperitif and it goes very well with fish. 5,3% ABV.
