Honey Rum is a variety of rum from the Canary Islands. This liquor is elaborated with aguardiente from sugarcane or molasses and original honey bee. This drink is sweet but intense and its alcohol per volume ranges from 25% to 30%, depending on the brand. Honey Rum, is still today a unique formula elsewhere in the world and therefore has obtained protected designation of origin "Ronmiel" in preserving this Canarian treasure.
