Imperial Stout inspired by the classic arcade video game Space Invaders, very popular in the Japansese megacity. This Intergalactic Stout is made from many specialty malts, such as Extra Pale, Dark Crystal, Chocolate and Roast Barley, as well as jasmine, cranberries and Brewdog’s favourite hops - Galena, Chinook and First Gold-. It is carefully aged in toasted French oak casks. Brewdog is a pioneering Scottish craft-beer brewery, located in Ellon.
Tasting notes
Black colour with small dark brown head. Aromas of dark chocolate, sherry, dried fruits and coffee. Dense body with hints of cherry and brandy. Hardly any carbonation. Persistent aftertaste. 16% ABV.
