Mahou Cinco Estrellas 25 cl
Mahou Cinco Estrellas is an iconic Spanish Pale Lager, with a golden colour and a pleasant and smooth flavour. It has been brewed since 1936, although it was in 1969 that it became the beer we know as Mahou Cinco Estrellas.
The first Mahou factory was opened in 1890 in Madrid by Hijos de Casimiro Mahou, formed by the brothers Alfredo, Enrique, Luis and Carolina Mahou Solana. This factory had the most modern equipment of the time and made use of an innovative production process.
The brand enjoyed an important boom at the beginning of the 20th century, thanks to an improvement in its equipment and a considerable increase in production. At the outbreak of the Civil War the brewery was requisitioned and beer production was kept to a minimum. During the 1960s and 1970s the demand for beer quadrupled. Today, it is one of the best known Spanish beer brands in the world and it is sold in many countries.
