Mahou Cinco Estrellas 25 cl
Mahou Cinco Estrellas is an iconic Spanish Pale Lager, with a golden colour and a pleasant and smooth flavour. It was brewed for the first time in 1936, although it was in 1969 that it became the beer we know as Mahou Cinco Estrellas.
The first Mahou brewery was opened in 1890 in Madrid by Hijos de Casimiro Mahou, a company founded by the brothers Alfredo, Enrique, Luis and Carolina Mahou Solana. This factory had the most modern equipment at the time and used an innovative production process.
The brand enjoyed an important expansion at the beginning of the 20th century, thanks to an improvement in its equipment and a huge increase in production capacity. During the 1960s and the 1970s the demand for beer quadrupled. Nowadays, it is one of the best known Spanish beer brands in the world and it is sold in many countries.
